BIOGRAPHY

 
 

Tyler Samuel (Nashville, TN),A Graduate of the University of Evansville and a proud member of Phi Mu and Sigma Alpha Iota respectively, has sung the roles of Adele in Strauss’ “Die Fledermaus”, Konigin die Nacht in Mozart’s “Magic Flute”, and Rosina in Rossini’s “Barber of Seville”. Ms. Samuel is a regular in the Nashville theater scene as well and has performed with Circle Players productions of “Fame Forever” as Georgia Washington, “Aida” as Mereb as well as ensemble roles in “Ragtime” and “Memphis the Musical” with Street Theater Company. Her most recent role as Miss Dorothy in the Larry Keeton Dinner Theater production of “Thoroughly Modern Millie” has garnered her a nomination for “Best Featured Actress in a Musical” by the 2016 Broadway World Nashville Awards. 

As a rising solo artist she has been hired to perform for special events and wedding ceremonies throughout the Nashville area.  Ms. Samuel has a B.A. in Vocal Performance from the University of Evansville (2014) and is a graduate of East Literature Magnet School (2010).  She is a member of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity and serves on the board of Choral Arts Link, Inc. of which she is an alumni of the MET Singers, one of its featured programs. Ms. Samuel is an advocate of the Arts and for the Deafblind community for persons like herself who share in the many complexities that persons with disabilities encounter.
